Mary Kate is a student in St. Marys University College studying Liberal Arts and History and hope to continue her students to complete a masters in Human Rights. She intends to travel to Palestine after her studies to help out in whichever way she can. Mary Kate loves fine art and photography, she is an Ulster Champion in Irish Dancing and the secretary of her University hurling club. Mary Kate can play a lot of musical instruments and loves playing the tin whistle and fiddle.

Chantal is a disability care assistant and student support worker, she was successfully selected to be part of "International Business Boot-Camp" and plans to open her own business next year. Chantal likes to try new things and push herself to the very limit! She likes to cook, cross stitch, organise events and build or make things. Chantal has a real passion for culture and history, she enjoys going to museums, galleries and old buildings and has done so all over Europe. She can play bits and pieces of different instruments and has taken to playing the bodhran lately.

Kerrie is an Interior designer and is a member of the DeNogla School of Irish Dance for ten years and has been involved in many fundraisers and cultural events with Irish groups around New Jersey. Kerrie is passionate about hospitality design and aspires to be in a leading role developing new cutting edge hotels and restaurants that are both aesthetically pleasing and ecologically sensitive. Kerrie has a keen interest in Architecture, design, visiting museums and art exhibitions, exploring new cities and cooking.

Aine studies drama so acting and performing plays a large role in her life. She is a member of DramSoc in UCD, which is a society based on performance, dance and theatre skills. She is also a member of Law & History Society and Business & Law Society, both of which host weekly debates on topics concerning the students and issues which are topical in society at the time. Aine lives opposite Annagry Bay and is says she is privileged to live in such a scenic area. As an Irish speaker, Aine likes to be in the company of fellow Irish speakers - to keep the native language alive!

Anne Marie is a contracts manager for the McElwaine Electrical Group, she has a keen interest in Music and can play the flute, tin whistle and has recently taken up the bodhran, her main passion is singing. Anne Marie used to play for her local ladies football team and is a proud supporter of Fermanagh senior team. She would like to travel within the next few years. Anne Marie was the 2008 Fermanagh Rose and represented her County at the Rose of Tralee regional final.

Brief History & Aspirations:

From an early age Lisa has dreamed of becoming a Country artist and thus, she is in the process of breaking into the Country music scene. She spends a significant amount of time travelling to Ireland to perform in concerts, dances and other events. She was an Irish dancer from the age of four until she was sixteen.

She has competed at the highest level and been successful- competing in the British Nationals, Great Britain Championships and World championships throughout her dancing career. Lisa has recorded a twelve track album – “Teardrops & Laughter” and recently finished recording her latest single called “Texas as Hell”. As well as singing she plays the guitar. Following a performance with Robert Mizzell and the Country Kings, Lisa has been invited as a guest on “Glor Tire” – a renowned Country Music competition.

Having just finished her A levels, Róise is hoping to go to Galway University to study Irish and Translation Studies as she has a keen interest in Irish Heritage, Culture and the Irish language. Róise plays the button accordion, concertina and the whistle, and also sings in seán-nós style having been successful in many competitions during the years at music festivals nationwide. Róise currently holds an all Ireland title for singing and has won various poetry competitions at Comortas an Béal Binn.

Emily is an Area Coordinator of Residence Life at the Holy Family University in Philadelphia. Having studied Political Science at the Arcadia University, Emily also studied in Dublin and earned an internship in Dáil Eireann. Her course allowed her to travel worldwide to take part in Harvard University's UN conferences. Emily then attained a Masters Degree in Global Security at Keel University in England.

An active member of the Donegal Association in Philadelphia, Emily enjoys cooking, reading, music and travelling.
