Mary Kate is a student in St. Marys University College studying Liberal Arts and History and hope to continue her students to complete a masters in Human Rights. She intends to travel to Palestine after her studies to help out in whichever way she can. Mary Kate loves fine art and photography, she is an Ulster Champion in Irish Dancing and the secretary of her University hurling club. Mary Kate can play a lot of musical instruments and loves playing the tin whistle and fiddle.

Geraldine from Tullysaren in Co. Armagh has worked as a Beauty Therapist for almost six years. Her sporting passion lies in GAA having been involved with her local club, Tullysaren GAC, from a very early age.

Geraldine plays both camogie and ladies football for her club and is also a valuable member of the Armagh County Senior Camogie panel. In her spare time Geraldine loves travelling, going shopping and she also loves hitting the dance floor to do a bit of jiving on a night out!

Maggie is a recent graduate of Ramapo College and is actively pursuing a Masters degree in school counseling. Maggie has also been a competitor in Irish Step Dancing since age 5, and has medaled in all regional, national and international level championships. Currently, she is studying for her TCRG and hopes to become a teacher of Irish Dance in the upcoming year.

When not studying, Maggie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, coaching cheerleading and dancing and working at her local garden nursery. She is also always up for a new adventure and loves to make everyone around her smile and laugh!

Colleen recently graduated with a 2.1 (BA Criminology) from Queens University. She found her degree fascinating and enjoyed living in Belfast but admits to being glad to return to Dungiven - home to most of her surprisingly large family.

With relatives in many corners of the world Colleen is keen to begin travelling. Her long term goal is to work in probation services with young offenders and she is currently looking for volunteer work to gain the necessary experience. She has great enthusiasm for gaelic and soccer and can't wait to get playing again soon. Unusually she finds that cleaning relaxes her when she gets stressed. She also sings on occasion and looks forward to nights out with the promise of a dance!

Shauna is a final year nursing student, currently finishing her internship at Letterkenny General Hospital and works part-time at Supervalu, Killybegs.

After her degree, she would like to further her studies into complementary and holistic therapies. Shauna is a real homebird who loves spending time with her family and friends. She would love to travel the world but will always come back home to Donegal. She enjoys meeting new people, supporting GAA, irish dancing and loves to iron!

Maria is a Primary School teacher and studied Primary Education with a degree in Science in St Mary's University College, Belfast. Maria has participated in the Scor competitions and has won 8 Down County titles in the Novelty Act section. Maria is a talented singer and plays the guitar; she plays at different events in the County Down area. Maria was successful in winning the 2008 Newry and Mourne Maiden title in the Warrenpoint International Festival. Maria has worked during the Summer months in the Newcastle Tourist Information Centre.

Maria enjoys playing the guitar and singing, Gaelic football, walking and travelling. She has travelled to America and Australia.

Carrie Is currently working in lidl in Dungloe to fund her ambition to return to college in the next year or so to hopefully attain a teaching degree. Carrie has previously studied childcare with special needs but realised this wasn't the career choice for her. While on her time out from college carrie achieved a diploma in computer applications and thoroughly enjoyed her one month's work experience with Donegal County Council. In her spare time carrie enjoys going for walks on the beach and going to the cinema.

She is very much family orientated and is very proud to be from Dungloe and representing her local community in this years Mary from Dungloe festival.

Mags is employed as an accounts assistant in the McGarrell Reilly Group in Dublin. Having recently completed a higher certificate in business accounting in IT Tallaght, she is due to start her Professional Accountancy exams this coming Autumn.

She is a proud member of Ballinteer St Johns GAA Club were she plays camoige. Mags really enjoys the craic and friendly atmosphere that the GAA brings. The only difficult decision she has to make about the GAA is when Dublin and Donegal meet in matches. Who should she be shouting for?

Mags has very strong connections with Donegal, her father James coming from Kincasslagh she spends any available holidays she has up there with her family and friends. Having watched her uncle (Daniel O Donnell) and auntie (Margo) perform for so many years in the festival she is now honored to be part of it herself.

Jemma recently graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a MA (Hons) degree in History and Classics. During her time at University, she studied Roman and Greek civilisations in her Classics course and covered many different periods of history. Some of her favourite history courses included 'American History', 'Irish in Scotland since 1800' and 'Early English Modern Witchcraft'.

She has a strong passion for fashion and is particularly fascinated with vintage clothing. She is a frequent visitor to Edinburgh's famous vintage shop Armstrong's Clothing Emporium. During her spare time she also enjoys socialising with friends, playing the violin and being a member in the Keadue Band while holidaying in Donegal.

Kathleen is currently a student finishing A-Levels in Business Studies, Single Award Science and ICT and hopes to further study Business, Information Technology in Queens University Belfast. She was born in New York but moved to Ireland when she was seven and has grown up in Lisnaskea, Co. Fermanagh.

She enjoys playing Gaelic football has been Irish Dancing since the age of three. Having competed in World, All-Ireland and Ulster Irish Dancing championships Kathleen hopes to teach Irish Dancing in the future.

Seana is currently working as a financial advisor which she is finding it really interesting and challenging. Next year she will begin her Hons degree in Occupational Therapy, she wants a profession that is not only rewarding but will allow her to travel.

Once graduated Seana would love to take a year out to travel and experience different cultures. Seana enjoys designing and modifying clothing, taking something simple and making it unique. From a very young age she has spent every holiday possible in Dungloe. She also lived in Dungloe during her last year of primary education where she met some amazing people and friends that she will always have.

Seana enjoys socialising with family and friends and is always game for a bit of craic.

Éilis is a student who lives in the heart of the Gaeltacht Rann na Feirste. She is currently studying in St. Mary's college in Belfast where she is studying Primary school teaching and Irish language.

Éilis was also voted the class rep for the Cumann Gaelach. She has a great love for Gaelic football and wishes to join the College team and also to join her home team Naomh Mhuire when the season begins. Éilis appreciates her language and culture and is very active in Irish plays. She has been taking part in dramas for the last 6 years and loves every second of it. She works in Leo's Tavern where the Marys will visit during their time in Dungloe

Sarah is currently working in West London as an Early Years Educator. Aside from this Sarah childminds for two different families with children ranging from four months upto nine years old. She is starting Kingston University in September to complete a foundation degree in Early Years and hopes to one day open her own nursery.

She enjoys socialising with friends and family and of course visiting Dungloe. She also enjoys cooking and trying out new recipes. She enjoys reading, especially true life stories. She also enjoys swimming and travelling and recently travelled to New York.

Lilly is currently studying BA in Theatre Arts at at Marymount Manhattan College, New York. She is a student intern at the American Globe theatre, was a former stable hand and exercise horseback rider in California and a waitress in her home town of Idyllwild. Film, specifically editing and theatre direction are both passions and she hope to be lucky enough to enjoy them as a career.

She enjoys filmmaking, horseback riding, acting, singing, writing, reading, tennis. And in general, doing almost anything with wonderful people. She is also a Member of the Marymount Manhattan Choir.

Kiera McDonagh is a 2007 graduate of LaSalle University where she majored in Integrated Science, Business and Technology (ISBT) and graduated magna cum laude from the Honors Program. After working for two years in commercial real estate, she returned to La Salle University and enrolled in their Masters of Business Administration program.

Kiera is a member of the Donegal Association of Philadelphia and enjoys volunteering, playing sports and making people laugh.

Marie-Claire is currently studying Law with French at University of Ulster. She loves travelling, and learning about different cultures and languages. She is a part of the 'Open your Mind' group in her University which promotes mental health awareness in students and young people.

A member of a cheerleading team, Marie-Claire also loves socialising, meeting new people and new challenges! She loves the Mary from Dungloe International festival and can't wait for all the fun it's sure to bring!
